Default Small Woodspirit character

Had some small logs around the shop that were starting to dry out...as you can see from the spalding...and I basically let my imagination take over. I wanted to experiment with different hair, brows, mustache and beard and this is what I came up with. He is around 15 inches high and carved into birch. This is probably one of my fastest carvings I have done in a while as I didn't care how he turned out. I even tried different camera exposures for affect.

Wow Patrick! You outdid yourself on that woodspirit - he looks alive!!! If that was done quickly, I'd probably would believe one that you did slowly...awesome woodspirit! Continued safe carving to you!

Patrick...you're amazing! He's a "practice stick" for you and he still comes out fabulous! I'd kill to be able to carve like that! Bonnie

Hi Patrick,
Even though you said he was done quickly, I'd still be able to pick him out of a line-up as being done by you, has that "Patrick" look, which is fantastic. Great job on this "little" woodspirit.
