Had some small logs around the shop that were starting to dry out...as you can see from the spalding...and I basically let my imagination take over. I wanted to experiment with different hair, brows, mustache and beard and this is what I came up with. He is around 15 inches high and carved into birch. This is probably one of my fastest carvings I have done in a while as I didn't care how he turned out. I even tried different camera exposures for affect. Patrick |

Wow Patrick! You outdid yourself on that woodspirit - he looks alive!!! If that was done quickly, I'd probably would believe one that you did slowly...awesome woodspirit! Continued safe carving to you! Kenn
