Default Small Happy Woodspirit

This little guy could probably fit into the caricature category. This is my forth randition of a carving based on Mark Gargac's woodspirit style. This happy little guy is carved in basswood and stands around 8 inches high. I gave him a large snoz, beady eyes, and a toothy smile. He's designed to hang on a wall. Thanks for viewing.

Patrick, that looks really good. It is up to your usual standard. Nice work. There may be others but it is the first I have seen of Mark's layout done as a wood spirit with the hair on his head. Very nice.

Oh my gosh Patrick, he is terrific you have really taken to these little MG fellas. As others have told me you to have learned your lesson well. I really like the character you put into this one--you have made it your own. I have been studying how to make the features different also.
