Default Shhhhhhhh

I expect many of you have seen different version of this type of carving. I thought I would put my own twist to it and give it a try. The character who is telling the viewer to be quiet stands around 8 inches high, is carved in basswood and has a layer of oil and sealer. The back is hollowed out to make it lighter on the stand. Enjoy.

I don't think I've seen anything like it before. It's a very intriguing piece. You did a great job on it, like the finish too.

Beautiful carving Patrick a little different from your usual but absolutly stunning. I love the way your carvings are so clean the lines so crisp excellent work my friend..
