Default Sharpening systems

Over the weekend I heard great reviews for a belt type sharpening system from Canada, but no one could remeber the name/ brand. Anyone here know what system it could be?
Thanks-
Barry

The 'Ultimate Sharpening Machine' comes to mind, as found in Chipping Away catalogue, they are a business in Kitchener, Ontario . Check out their web site at www.chippingaway.com

Lee Valley Tools also has a version of the system, at www.leevalley.com

These systems are made up primarily of a leather belt on a motor, geared slow to provide a method to power strop. A friend has one and loves it, but cautions that he found it difficult to get the hang of, easy to burn your blade with too much heat.

Hope this helps,

Bob
