Hi Gang, I sent Bob Duncan back to the US this morning. When he left here he was smiling and happy so how he is when he gets back is nothing to do with me. I may have sent him back a little heavier but until you have seen this man eat you have no idea. I did take him and Steph out for Sushi yesterday and I ordered a pile of Sushi not realizing that Steph was allergic to most of it. So Bob and I had to eat most of it. When we left Bob had a little difficutly making it too the car he actually was complaining he had eaten too much. So I hope his trip to the Great White north was a good one we really enjoyed their company. I fear he now has an addiction though to woodspirits and single malt scotch and Canadian bacon. Colin

Colin; Holy woodchip smokes; it appears that you have bypassed the "Bed and Breakfast" craze into your own little "Carving, Happy Hour and a Sack in the Back" thing. It appears you let Bob bypass all of the fantastic beer and whisky you guys make up there, and go right for the scotch. Tssk! No wonder you have Tim Hortons strong coffee, and a big breakfast of eggs and Canadian bacon. It sounds like it was one heck of a good time. Are you taking reservations? BTW, both my wife and my families originally landed in Canada. I have been trying to go back and have a big look around, but she resists. Her family must owe somebody money still! At any rate, it sounds like it was a great trip/meeting, and I am truely impressed by Bobs chainsaw carving; well done! I can hardly believe it was his first try. Cheers! Jim |
