Default Saving a piece of Scrap Wood

This piece of wood broke off a limb in my back yard and looked interesting, so I put it aside for later, I guess this is later because it's finished finally. It is White Pine and 14" long. Using my Study Stick has helped a lot. Doesn't look like my Study Stick but still helped. Ha, Ha. I didn't noticed till I posted it that it looks like he is Smiling. Who knew? I see humor everywhere. He doesn't have a practical use but for some reason I like him. I guess i'll put him next to my Chicken. Merle

There's something about carving into raw wood that helps make a carving...and yours certainly turned out very well.

Thanks Guys. I think when you find a piece of wood with Caracture it makes your imagination go to work. Sure feels good to make it happen.Merle
