Remember the lovely Santa carvers, Charlotte and Curtis "Big 'Un" Gibbs, who were active on the old board? Curtis is very ill and needing our thoughts and prayers. If you have their email, I know they'd love to hear from you. If not, please post a message here and I'll see that Charlotte visits the board and passes them to Big 'Un.

I heard from Charlotte this morning about Curtis condition, thanks Nancy, for appealing to ALL their friends here for their prayers. They are wonderfully kind, sweet people and can use and deserve everyones thoughts and prayers! Callynne

Likewise, I send all my positive thoughts and feelings towards both of them...it's almost as hard to be a caregiver as it is to be sick!

Sorry to hear Mr. Gibbs is ill. Pray that he gets better and Mrs. Gibbs for taking care of him. Truely a talented couple.

Here's a note to everyone from Charlotte

Please tell everyone on the message board that we appreciate all the comments and it makes us feel so happy to see that those dear people care for us.. I am so sorry that we haven't been on the board in a while, because Curtis hasn't carved any lately.. I can only say, that the messages played an important part of our lives and we have grown to dearly love each and everyone of them .. We will cherish the time we have had on the board and every one has come to have a special part part in our lives.. Someday we will see each and everyone of them and will be a real part of their lives with special hugs for eternity. God bless you dear beautiful carvers.. Love, Big Un and Charlotte

I'm just bumping this up because I'm sending each new message to the Gibbs. Curtis was to come home from the hospital last night and be receiving hospice care.
