Default sales of carvings

Hi Y'all
We went to local festival last week and set up a booth.
I sold quite a few christmas ornaments.
old thread spools w/ santa faces did real well.
The local scout troop wants to set up a time to teach the kids and get them to earn thier wood badges. Had a good time.
Had quite a few lookers ask about the large carvings no buyers but that's ok.
My better half sold some of her yard ornaments also.

Default Re: sales of carvings

Those shows may not be too profitable, but they sure are fun! We just got done with our club's anual show...didn't sell a thing but had a great day BS-ing with folks and giving a few simple carvings away to the kids! Several of the members who carve small ornaments and quick-carves, did all right selling stuff for between 5 and 10 bucks. That seems to be the range for sales at the 'crafty' shows around here.

You'll have fun with the Scouts......bring bandaids!
