If you are talking about the ryobi reciprocal carver.....flexcut sells bits that fit it.

Look something like this? http://www.flexcut.com/products/images/R309t.jpg If so, then go to: http://www.flexcut.com/products/cart...ategory_id=147 Just in case you're looking for any other tools for his Ryobi, here's a link to the other Flexcut RG tools. http://www.flexcut.com/products/cart...ategory_id=145 I use them as hand tools with the handle. I can't vouch for how they work with the reciprocating tool but I've been told the Flexcut tools are better than the tools that come with the reciprocating tool. Good luck

I've got about 7 of these and they're far better than the ones that came with my Ryobi. If you really want to make him happy get that 14 piece set! Very nice!

I bought the Ryobi carving tool years ago. I was not into wood carving (electric carving) with it at the time and sold the tool. I still have , I think, 4 of the original bits that are still in the original factory wrapper card. All are different shapes also. I bought them as backups in case I would have lost or worn out the originals that came with the tool. If you are interested in them let me know by PM.

If you are still looking for bits Woodcraft sells the Flexcut blades, a bit pricey but a nice selection. I have the Ryobi Power Carver and find it works well in clearing large areas, still use hand chisels for some of the more detailed stuff.
