Thanks Dave for the compliment, but Forrest has nothing to worry about from me. His little wolves will be long gone before I even get close to his talent.

Wanda,
Nice job on the pups. Looking at these mini's puts too much strain on my eyes. Trying to carve them would put too much strain on my mind and way too many cuts in my figers. These are really neat.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

Great little puppies Wanda. After reading all the other replies, I'm hungry for a real good hamburger. Looks as if you're having fun with these little pups, enjoyed seeing them.

Thanks Mark, Curt and Dan. They are like any other carving just smaller. Forrest is right about not as much detail, which I kind of miss. It is more like a mini roughout.
Somedays I have to put on reading glasses or use a lite magnifyer to put in the pegs for their legs but there is a market out there for doll house minis.
Thanks for your comments.

Hi Wanda,

What an absolutely delightful litter. And I love the fact that their legs move. Are the pegs just pushed into the bodies?

Hi Ron T,

Thanks for your comment. No the pegs aren't just pushed into the body. I tried that at first but when the weather got dry, they would slp off. After a lot of trial and error, I found that using the tiniest bamboo skewer worked well. I have to trim it down slightly and gently shove it on until it won't go any further. I don't cut off the excess until I am sure the opposite leg is snug on the peg. I trim the pegs off if both are secure and then flare the ends.
If anyone is interested, I will post a tutorial on making them with pictures that might explain it better.
Wanda

Thanks Kenny. After seeing his wolves, I thought dogs. Marci was telling me about the hitty dolls and I thought jointed dogs.
How's the knee going?
