Ross Oar web site, gone?

Hi, I had a link to Ross Oars web site on my favorites and just tried to go there and it keeps sending me to a strange site. Does anyone now if the web site is gone or has changed? I am interested in some of his roughouts as I got one of his books for Christmas this year.The web address I have is carver yacht sale motor used at oarcarver.us .Sure hope someone can help me with this.I just got a Helvie Detail Knife in the mail today and it is the nicest knife I have used so far. Just love it.

Sounds like his sight has either been hacked and redirected to another site.

Edited: I just did a google search for Ross Oar and found Ross Oar roughouts. Clicked the link and got sent to a camped website = oarcarvers.us. Maybe he has removed his site and someone as camped it already?

I think you are right about the web site. I have an address for him in the book so I will try that. Thanks for trying though.

I just forwarded your post and request for roughouts to Ross's personal email address. I will followup with him to at our Feb club meeting. I'm positive you'll be hearing from him soon.

Spoke with Ross today and he wasn't aware that he was having web site issues but they are now looking into the matter, should be correctly shortly.

backporchcarver, Ross wants you to email him directly until his site is corrected, I'll PM you his email address, have fun.

Thanks everyone for your help. Yes I noticed the web site is bakc up and I have printed off the order form and have it all ready to go in the mail tomorrow. Can't wait to get the roughouts. I have only ever used a roughout once before and sure does save a lot of work. I am really impressed with his carvings so have a long wish list happening here!Dave, if you get that pocket carver, let us know how it is. I am kind of interested also. My husband just gave me some of his Old Timer pocket knives so I will give them a try also.
