Default "Ridgway" PA. Chainsaw Carving Rendezvous

Hi gang here are some pictures I hope from Ridgway PA at the chainsaw carving Rendezvous I attended last week I will probably have to do a couple of posts to put in all the pictures as we can only get five on each thread. The event went very well not a lot of snow and we were able to raise over $37,000 for the kids at "Make a Wish". This was my second year attending as a carver my carvings are the wood spirits and are carved out of pine stand about five feet tall.

Thumbs up Re: "Ridgway" PA. Chainsaw Carving Rendezvous

Colin: First, it's really nice having you back on the board as I rarely miss any of your postings. You have a unique way of adding a strong "human element" to your messages which have been missed.

Thanks for posting all those picture's as I've already downloaded them all. My favorite's, beside's yours of course Wink , was the two benches... the one with the woodspirits and the one with the horses. Man 'o man, those were really nice! I sure wish that some of those people at the rendezvous could find some time to do some posting here! Well, we have you so I can't complain too much!!

I wasn't sure just what to think of that "Bikini Grandma"! Seems like it's a bit too cold there to be struttin' around in such skimpy clothing! And is her top down?!? Man, she's gotta be shivering!

By the way, it seems like you gave us a website last year when you attended this event but I wasn't into chainsaw carving too much then and lost the address so if you still have it I'd appreciate it again when you get the time. Pennsylvania is not that far from where I'm at so maybe I can get there in the next year or so. Seems like a fella could learn a lot about the art at a showing like this or at least be inspired beyond belief!!!

Thanks again for posting this!!
