| | About Rick at "Little Shavers" Just thought I would let you know what I'm sure some of you already know about Rick.
Last Sat. I talked to Rick and added a knife to an order I already had placed with him for a "Hillbilly with a jug" roughout. Now most of you know this is not a big order and the Flexcit detail knife I added didn't make it an earth shatering order either but Rick was very polite and helpful. I have also posted many times on here about Emil Janels carving and how much I admire the mans carvings and Rick has given me some great info on him as well.
To make a long story short my package arrived today and I was pleasntly surprised to see that Rick had added something to the order at "no charge".
Now you have to keep in mind that this is my first order with Little Shavers.
This just goes to prove that what I have heard on here about this man is all true and you can bet that I will not be ordering from anyone else in the future.
Thanks you Rick, Mike

| | Re: About Rick at "Little Shavers" Guys, you're making me blush.
Actually Mike, you did me a favor taking one of my unfinished carvings off my hands.
ElectricBill, you are the one who got it right; it's Theresa that makes Little Shavers what it is.
There are several customers who actually seem disappointed if I answer the phone when they call.
I don't know how, but she remembers every customer like they were old friends.
I couldn't run this business without her. |

| | Re: About Rick at "Little Shavers" Yup, these are good folk that I get to be lucky enough to live very near. Rick and Teresa do things way above and beyond for their customers - like I've never experienced with any other vendor. I get to see some of it (and yell at Rick sometimes for not charging enough for the hours of tool sharpening he does). He just smiles and turns his head back toward that sharpening contraption of his.
Good folk, great friends.
Teri (heading to bank in the morning to cash Rick's check) (LOL, these little silly faces are just cool) |

| | Re: About Rick at "Little Shavers" Nice to hear of a business that caters to the customers that is something that has been lost over the years. I agree Rick and Theresa are the best I have heard nothing but great things about these people. I ship my tools to Rick from Canada to be sharpened, Teri it must be nice to have him just down the street.
Keep up the great work guys, word of mouth is the best advertising you can get.
