Default Reworked Guy

8"x4"x3" from Basswood with a Walnut Base. This was the first attempt at carving on the corner to do a face. I have looked at it since 2005 sitting on my desk and finally fixed it. I liked the Nose and Mouth but the rest was not good. I had no plan as to what to do with it so I just started to remove wood and did what I felt like doing. The finish is Watco Dark Wax and Feed-n-Wax. No Poly this time [ I forgot ]. Merle

Hi Kenn, the finish turned out OK without PolyU. I didn't think about the PolyU till after I had the Wax on, and it was to late. Thanks for your nice comments. Merle

I agree with everyone, Merle.....nice job on that face, and the wax finish really makes it. It was a perfect choice. I like it! Bonnie
