One of our carvers and also a member here on the board hosted a 2 day class this past weekend in Great Bend, Ks. This year's featured teacher was Millard Harrell from Emporia, Ks. In 2 days, Millard managed to teach 11 carvers his method for carving Santa ornaments complete through the painting and finishing process. Millard has a great teaching style and the class was extremely informative. I would recommend him highly to anyone who has the chance to take instruction from him. Attached is a picture of my finished Santa! Thanks Millard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Scott, you are certainly a good student, that's an excellent carving you've done and you certainly paid attention to what you were shpwn by a great instructor. You are very fortunate you had that oportunity. None of the greats ever come to Ontario, at least not that I know of. Cliff |
