and it's really an interesting one, lots of good stuff ,this time......but the last one, was quite bland....that's why I made the comment awhile back that, at times, I'm disappointed with the magazine.....hope the next ones are as good as the latest!!!!!!!!!!

To paraphrase the old saying... you can make some of the people happy some of the time and the rest of the people happy at other times but you can't make everyone happy all of the time." I agree that not every issue flips my switch but overall I've found WCI to be the best carving magazine on the market. I just try to be patient and keep an open mind. Is the Fall issue out already?

It is what you make of it! I have not found any of the WCI dissappointing and will add that several issue did not have what I wa looking for but great none the less. Yes this latest is a great one. Has several known carvers I admire, Phil Bishop( to bad Vicki wasn't in it), Irish getting Woodcarver of the year, Congrats Susan, A new wood supply of Wilcox. They have some great northern wood. Bought a bunch of it from them in July when they were in the Tulsa show. Many others were in there also. Enjoyed the critique of Ron Davidson's carving buy Susan. I am not a relief carver but enjoyed both the carver's persceptive and Susan's. Great rag Shannon and BobD. My hat is off to you and your staff for a job well done.

Kenny... Ditto here! Great issue. It was waiting for me when I got home today! What I really enjoy is the informative articles on names that come up here on the forum. Unlike a lot of you guys I don't get around all that much and to be able to put a name with a face and credentials really helps. WCI out did themselves on this issue!
