Default ramsey finish

Hey guys, almost finished my second headboard and was wanting a lighter finish than my first one.
I like the colouring Ramsey has on his reliefs, an orangey colour, anyone know how that is achieved. The results from my first finishing attempt was quite disappointing, any help would be appreciated.
