My wife and I are planning a trip to Eureka Springs August 9-11. Can anyone direct me to a woodcarving supply store in Eureka Springs?

Tulsa I merged your two posts and moved them to "General Carving" so more people will likely see it. I don't know of any, but you might Google "wood carving Eureka Springs" and see what you find... Claude |

There are (sadly) no woodcarving supply stores in Eureka Springs. The closest ones I know of would be Valley Road Woodcarvers in Silver Dollar City, Pete engler's store in the Grand Village on 76 in Branson, and UTC Hardwoods off Bee Creek road in Branson. Outside of that I'm not aware of any other local providers.

I just noticed you're in Tulsa. The Woodcraft store there has my personal favorites, Swissmade (Pfiel) and Flexcut. I know that chain is pricey, but the selection is good.

| Not intending to offend anyone but her goes. I put a mask in my local consignment shop 30 years ago not really my thing. It looked like it could be Indian the woman that ran the shop put a price on it way over what I would have it sold for. I am white from English descent she wanted more things like it, and at the time I was young and poor I made plenty of “Indian Art”. I could bring my forge up from Gulfport and make some tools here in Hot Springs. Does that make them Ozarks made tools? Arkansas sharpening stones are better than Japanese water stones. Not because they are from Arkansas they just are, if FunaKoshi 400 years ago would have had a choice he would have chosen Arkansas stones for his swords. Yall feel what I am putting out? |

I am actually heading to Eureka Springs soon on a trip, does anyone know of any wood carvers clubs, shops which have locally carved items, etc up there to check out? I always like looking at other peoples carvings.
