Default Project ideas Ebony from deceased Father in Law

Hello,
I need some direction and thought I would turn to this forum. This is the situation. My Father in Law had gave me a piece of Ebony that he bought back from the Philippines during WWII. He had gotten along in years and figured he wasnt going to do anything with it, so he gave it to me and said "Do something with it". Well he passed away this year and I want to do something with it for each of his Children. I need (six) of whatever I do. The piece is pretty small about 1 3/4" T X 2"W X 7"L. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Tikis are a natural for that wood of yours, I'm doing some as gifts, unfortunately, the most exotic wood I have is bass wood, altho I have some black walnut stashed away but still drying.
