Default Power carving dust collection

Does anyone out there have a decent pattern for a dust collection table etc. for power carving?

This isn't really a pattern, but I built a box using 1x6' sides, peg board on the top, and masonite on the bottom, 18X24' rectangular shape. I put a 4' adapter in one end to connect to my grizzley dust collector. Works quite well. The numerous 3/16', or whatever they are, peg holes allow a lot of air pick up and still prevent anything large from getting into the collector. For power sanding, I put that rubber mat used in shelving (non slip) on the surface. It keeps the stock from slipping and lets the dust go right through the perfs.

It's a pretty simple set-up, and only cost a couple bucks. It's easy to make and really doesn't need plans, as you can make it any size you want. I can either hold it on my lap, put it on a table or sit on the workbench.

A good dust collector, plus many other carving-related projects, can be found at:

Dick, the link didn't work. Can you check it out and repost it? I would really like to see this site.

Thanks.
