Good work, Jill ! I realllly like the Santa with the scroll. I gave'um 10's Yup, you were right, maybe someday we will be famous, or could that be infamous Wink I was going to post to your 'disability" post but I didn't want to get started on my pains, don't think you can write posts that long on here I couldn't carve today, had to do that boring domestic stuff like grocery shopping, laundry, gas, tires rotated and feed store. Some idiot CA driver almost sent me to the "big woodshop in the sky" on the way home. My tires probably need rotating all over again due to rubber lose. Beautiful day though, 80 degrees!!!!! (sorry, think the adrenaline is still kicked in

Aw, thanks! You're all too much! Two of my biggest problems that seem to constantly come up are faces (especially the eyes, which is why I prefer Shawn Cipa's squinting eyes) and rounding out the character. They all look so squared off to me. With practice though, I'll get there! |

There now....that wasn't so bad! poosting your work is quite painless and does much to help you develop as a carver. You will find that you will be you own worst critic. You have some nice work there, good immigination and have your basic skills down well. Keep up the good work and most of all, have fun! Bob
