Default PNW paddle

Attached is a paddle I did from a class taken in Ellensburg, WA a couple of weeks ago. Instructor was Joe McConnell. I don't think the pictures do it justice, as the cuts are pretty shallow, and the shadowing was lost in the overcast light.

It tells the 'Raven Steals the Sun' story.

About 3 feet long. Basswood, acrylic paint.

It looks really nice, Scooter. I'm looking forward to doing some similar projects at the class in Campbell River, B.C.

I am big fan of west-coast paddles and the paintings. Thanks for sharing. One of my goals to do a paddle in similar fashion. I have done paddles but nothing west-coast style.

I 'm no judge of this art, but it looks real good to me. Those colours are just right.
