Default Pirate

Hi Everyone! I just finished carving this Pirate. He is 6-3/4" tall and the wood is basswood. I will welcome your suggestions and comments, both positive and negative. Thanks - Dave

He's looking good. Nice touch with the peg leg. Are you going to paint him?

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I do not plan to paint him. I have given him one coat of linseed oil and, with the woodburning highlights, I think that is enough. In my opinion painting it would make him look almost like a toy and ruin the "romance" of the wood. - David

Looks real good Dave ! As for a name, what about Peg Leg Pete The Pirate, or Pete The Peg Leg Pirate.
