Default "Pine BlueBird"

I knew I had a new pine board somewhere and I found it this morning and carved this cute{folk art type}not a real looking bluebird from it. The pine board was 3/4 X 3 1/2 inches. The bird is 5/8 thick by 4 inches and from the top of the bird to the bottem of the old fence post is 6 inches. Painted with acrylics. It stands up alone.

As always your thoughts or comments are more than welcome.

Thks Forrest

Im gald also you enjoy my work and I do appreicate you stopping to view and comment on it. Its very encouraging and I thank you.

I am very fond of blue birds and this one looks cute now, but it's on the watch for any bug that flies into it's territory.
Great little carving, Forrest, I think it captures the little spirit of the hunter well.

Nice job Forrest and fast too!

some times those quick projects go over better than a carving that takes a lot of time and the great thing about folk art carvings is that there are no rules
