As Forrest said the Charlotte Show was great! Got to meet a lot of the guys on the board here. Besides Forrest, Mark Akers, Arnold Smith, Blake Lunsford, Tony Filetti, Big John, Big Dave, Mitchell, Lance, and JimmyB were all there. Mark won Best of theme for the show for his Santa below and Mitchell won for his awesome hillbilly chess set. I did not catch the name of the carver that took best in show but his full size golden eagle is below too. Tony entered his Red Skelton Clem Kadiddlehopper and won too! I'll post some more pics in another thread.

Here they are folks.. the infamous and nefarious! Do youknow any of these guys?? Call 911! There's Blake in the first picture along with Arnold Smith (Scott Boys) in the same picture 1 guy down from Blake. Mark Akers in the second picture. Mitchell and JimmyB in the next. What was the whittling challenge that they are working on?

They gave you a 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 6 block and told you that you could carve anything in two hours. It was a lot of fun!
