Question Photographing your work

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this, but here goes.

Since I've become involved (obsessed) with wood carving, I find that it's not necessarily just about wood carving. I've had to become a designer, a painter, a finisher, and photographer, and potentially, a marketer.

Admittedly, I've had limited success in a few of these areas, but the one I find particularly frustrating is in the photographing of finished works.

Can anyone offer up some tips or advice of what works for them and some of, if any, of the issues you've learned to overcome?

Lynn has made several posts about the subject. Go up to the green bar, click on Search, and use the keyword "Photograph" and you should see a whole lot of posts about taking photos of carvings.
