Default Pete's DVD and Study Stick..... It's helped
For the most part I have been a self taught creator of wood chips occasionally picking up some pointers from Will Hayden. Working from books and magazines can be tuff for learning some aspects of carving like depth of a cut so when I picked up Pete LeClair's study stick I was able to get a better take on what I needed to do to improve my carving skills. I know this CD/ Study Stick has been around for a while but if you need some help turning out a better carving I highly recommend it. Here's a group shot of carvings I have done since I've been working with it.

Dan Iam in the same boat,self taught. The stick and video really helped me too! I love Pete's work!
You are really got a lot from the video, I can see it in your faces! Well done on these faces...
