Default Pens

I have been carving the kits that have the Bic pen inserts in them, has anyone made their own. I have been trying to find a drill bit to make my own, without any luck, any help would be appreciated.

Try this one Â*

I ordered some compasses from them for walking sticks and was treated very well. Â*I Â*had one defective one, and they immediately shipped me a new one.....didn't even have to return the junk one.

Also there are pen supplies in Woodcraft catalog I'll see if I can find a link.

OK, here it is Â*

I think I saw them in Lee Valley, too but not sure...chechttp://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.asp?page=43245&category=1,330,43243&c currency=2&SID=k here

You might try 'Penn State' they specialize in pen turning, parts etc.

just spoke with a friend that does pen carving, he uses papermate inserts and a 7/32 bit for those. you might messure BIC insert with calipers or take it to a auto supply store or some such place and have them messure it... they usually have bits down in 64th increments or less. A thought.
