Default Pegleg chicken Theft

Old peg leg Pete lives out from our town, you can always find him with the other hobos and bums that are around. They sit and fight over a drank of cheap wine, you can find ole Pete there anytime.

I ask him one day,Mr.Pete how did you loose your leg? It was in the big war son on a hot day. I knew better cause my grandmother told me so,ole Pete didnt see the train coming and moved too slow.

All the wine-o's and bums would work doing a simple chore like ole Pete,he'd sweep the porch at Mr.Jone's general store. Soon as he made a dime to the store he'd fly to get him another bottle of wine.

I use to hide in the trees near the rail road tacks and listen to the Hobo's stories they would tell,I once found a box of gold, one told. You are a lie-n the other shouted! Theres no box of gold, give me a drank of that gin and I show you where I have it all hid.

Then ole Pete would grab the bottle and take a long drank, give it back now the other would shout and take me to the gold or you better watch out!

Pete would set the path in front going through the tall weeds while the other would follow, then Pete would run fast shouting knowing what to do,Go get it yourself, You old fool!!

Ole Pete is carved from a block of pine, hes 1 7/8 tall and wide at his body,1/4 his hat is 1/2 inch wide. Painted with acrylics. Just something to say I carved something.

Hope you like him but remember you can't trust him more than you can throw my PC Im sitting at right now..................Your thoughts are always welcome.

Thk's Forrest

PS,thats his toe sticken through his shoe.
