Default Peach Pits

I been reading about carved peach pits, and I was also reading that peach pits are poisonus, cyanide I think, but was wondering is it enough to be dangerous to people, or is there a way to get rid of it?

Should I not even worry about it?

Alex

I went to Snopes and they had information about severasl fruit seeds .....
snopes.com: Apple Seeds and Cyanide

I wouldn't eat one but would not be afraid of carving a peach pit.

Actually, it's not the pit itself, but the seed that's inside. Carve away Alex.

Alex,
It'll all depend on what you want to carve.
If you carve something like a monkey or a basket that opens up the inside, you can work it out when you carve. But if you're doing a surface carving, you can leave it and it will eventually dry up.
Good luck.
