Default The "PanHandler"

This little pan handler is 1/4 " wide X 3/4 " tall,Hes carved from apple wood{some small chips from other apple carvings earlier} His eyes are blue, just couldnt get my camera that close to show them. He has his hand out asking for money. I have only carved 2 little people but every time I see Mr.Gene Messer's carvings, I just have to carve one. Its fun and relaxing carving these little guys! I think hes carved in the flat plane seeing I didnt carve him that smooth. Just wanted to share this little guy on board.

Hope you enjoy him as much as I did carving & painting him. Thks TnArtist

They look good to me. After seeing the other little guys I have been carving some from blond maple that are 3/4" x 2" but I know I couldn't go that small. You did a great job.

Very good, this is Micro Carving, I'd say..
I've done a bit of carving on 5/8" to 1" square basswood and 3-5" long mostly ink pens..

Thumbs up Re: The "PanHandler"

As always Forrest .. You give us another winner ... Wonderful Tiny Hobo ..
Pretty soon were all gonna need bifocals to just see the great work being done around here ..

That's what makes this forum so great .. it's things like this and people who attempt them that keep us coming back for more ...

Iam not even gonna ask you how you see to paint these ... For something so small .. you just do a great job .. Their always so colorful ..

Thanks for sharing
Gene
