Default outside natural finish

I have used this year for some of my outside work Pratt+ Lampert BASE# 3 .it looks like milk but it turns out clear and it comes in Gloss and Satin. my big pieces have been out all year and I can't see any dulling or weather effects at all , I am really pleased with that. Hope it helps somebody

I get the product at the Paintstore but our hardware stores do carry also P+L paint , I understand it does not matter which company you choose .The idea is to get the BASE ( oil) paint, BEFORE the add the color, I only got # 3 , some companies have # as low as 4 , this means the base for the darkest color used.( I don't know if I make any sense here????? ) I brush it on ( it is heavy) and I get it right into the cracks too , it takes sometimes a long time to dry and it feels tacky for a while too. Mybe the temperatur makes a difference , but when dry it sure is hard,
I hope it helps and makes sense
