Oskar, a friend of mine asked me to do a likeness of him. It is the first time for a me, as far as a realistic likeness. It didn't turn out as good as I wanted, but probably reflect my carving/painting abilities. I am going to touch up the eye highlights as soon as the linseed oil dries. He is 3 inches high. As usual, any critisism is appreciated., I am on dialup, and it is very slow. I haven't been spending much time on the internet.

If your friend looks like this carving he is a good looking guy, or should I say that if this carving looks like your friend you did a good job, oh heck, eithr way you did a great job on this little guy.

Carl...that's a great looking face you carved.....without a picture, don't know about the likeness, but he sure is realistic enough....I think that's a great face, likeness or not! Bonnie

If I looked at that and your friend was in a room with other people I am pretty sure I could pick him out. From where I'm sitting that looks pretty good. ..
