Default One more Monkey

I'll post this last one.He is about 1/4" smaller than the other one.I carved them only with my knife and a pin drill for the hole in his head. Thanks for looking. What else can you carve out of peach seed i've got 4 left. The last one i carved is on the left.Which i didn't get to keep more than 1 hr. till my son girlfriend took it.I enjoyed giving it to her its funny how such a small thing could bring so much joy.

nice job windsong,

my grand father always saved his peach pits to carve, just poor old Country folk, there was 7 girls in his family and they all had one on a string on their neck as they grown up, with the girls constantly loosing them, or trading them, it kept him in practice..

he made baskets out of them if they were big enough, then carved designs in cherry pits as easter eggs to put in them.

the 2 uncles started carving native American chief's in head dress out of them as well.

check out this site for more things to do with pits
