G'day again, was approached by a lady who runs a Beading supply shop and learning centre and asked if I could carve Cabuchons that her students could incorporate into their work. Said I'd give it a try..........carved this greenman style face about 1½"x¼" but wasn't happy with it, showed the woman and asked if it was what she wanted if so, I would trash this and make some better.......she asked could she keep it and ask students what they thought, I said ok and a couple of weeks later she called me to see the creation shown below......still do not like the face but I feel that the young woman responsible has done a wonderful job.... Regards to all John '

Hey John, That's one interesting project. Your carved face is fine. I suspect they will want more, and each one will be different. I like the whole thing, and also suspect that it will be copied quite a bit. Tom H |

Very interesting John, Your face looks great, and I like the way she worked in the grapes, and leaves around the face. I think the two of you have hit upon a winner. Tom |

Hi John, That is one very beautiful piece. You ought to be proud. She really turn your carving into a piece of art with that elaborate bead work. You know they'll want more faces.
