Just a note for all you within range of Omaha. The 35th Annual Mid America Woodcarvers Association show will be held this coming: Saturday 10-31-09 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Sunday 11-1-09 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM German American Center 3717 S. 120th Street Omaha, Nebraska I know Bill In O will be there. Would be nice to meet any of you other members that don't post often that are in the area. I will have a table myself. Larry "Big Dog" and Carol from The Woodcraft Shop will be set up, along with WCI Member and wood supplier SW Iowa Sawyer and Moore's Roughouts will also be there. Corey

Why isn't this listed as an event in the Omaha World Herald? The news letter also did not list an address for the show. MAWA web site has no address either. Quote:

I made it to the show today, met Corey, his hobos and other carvings are much nicer in person to look at. I tried to spread my allowance with several vendors, several new tool and a large pile of wood. Also got to visit with Disree Hanjy very nic lady. Corey and the gang did a very nice job on the show I am over loaded with ideas. Think Corey took several ribbons, I will let him blow his own horn. Bill in Omaha |
