Yes, experience! Good experience. Lots of carving knowledge there. And seems to be very honest. They do what they say they will do. I am pleased with them.

The owner is highly respected in our neck of the woods, and he comes to our shows at times as a vendor, very good fella to do business with.

Dallas has been to our annual show in Northwest Arkansas for several years. Always fair and honest. He has a lot of knowledge and freely shares it, his wife is also very helpful. He stocks a lot of items and if you are close to his shop you can take in classes too. You cannot go wrong doing business with him.

I have mail ordered stuff several times from them and orders and deliveries have always been accurate and prompt..... no problems or issues at all. I plan to use them again.

I have been friends with Dallas Deege for many years. Met him through his father-in-law who is an excellent bird carver living in Holliser (near Branson) MO and a member of our local club Ozark Mountain Woodcarvers.

Dallas is a carver, instructor and has a heck of a variety of carving supplies in his catalog and in his traveling circus. You definitely will not go wrong dealing with him.

He also has some great free videos on his website. I have learned from watching them.

Thank you all! I guess I'll go ahead and place my order. With recommendations like these how can I go wrong?

I have had many dealings with The Old Texas Woodcarving shop. Dallas(owner) is a very honest and straight shooting guy. He has a lot of good carving supplies. He's also a very good carving himself. Great guy to work with.
