Default Okay here's my latest.....

Goldilocks and the Tree Bears......it's one of what I call a 'rough carving'. My out door scenes are done in a rough way, the way it is in the out of doors.

The bears are brown and the trunk of the tree is brown.

During the summer months, when I'm out riding my recumbent tri cycle, I often find stuff lying on the city streets. One day I found a section of brown leather shoe string, which I wrapped around the branches to make them stronger.

The figure of Goldilocks is also rough, as now she's old and crabby, & she's pointing her finger at the bears to say, get outta my trees.

GREAT......I like it when I can make people laugh, I was the class clown when I graduated and I recently saw what my fellow class mates had written in the year book from 1960. I had not seen that for a long time and it gave me a good feeling to know that my mates liked to hear me say funny things, some times I wish that I could have gone on to do a routine of comedy in from of an audience......but I worked in the printing trade, that I learned from my Dad.

I kept most of my fellow workers in stitches with the jokes that I had learned over the years.

My Mom, told me once, "if you could have remembered your school studies, as well as the jokes you tell, you could have been a genius". But Mom, I said:
that is what has always interested me, I like to make other folks laugh. Life is to short not to laugh each and every day...and I continue to do that every day.
