After you have been a member and have contributed to several hundred conversations or have started topics, the number of posts start to count up, there is a setting apparently 900 posts that trigger the moniker " member" to change to "senior member", this indicates (in most cases) that the member is a good egg, and is willing to contribute comment. not that they are a boomer... or old...as some think "soapbox mode on" in many individuals teachers efforts here on the fourm, too many names to list here, but like as lynns, there ought to be another trigger pulled....
one to call him/her master instructor, carving progenitor, for all the teaching, construction and paint methods, they have contributed, and posted for all the new carvers presently and in the future to discover... or maybe a colored ribbon, icon added to the moniker, indicating the above and beyond efforts these individuals put forth to teach, this mediocre carver, how to carve these fantastic works of art.
My thanks to all these folks until your better paid.
