I have posted some early stage photo's on Picturetrail. I have four more to do next week so I am working like a dog to get these finished. Follow the link to see the carvings one is in a live Pine and the other is in a stump. http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/...&members=1

| | | Re: Now what's everyone working on? I am trying to finish a German Shepard, in the round, in memory of a local police dog killed in the line of duty.
If it is O.K. it will be displayed in City Hall.
Am also doing woodspirit porchhangers, (welcome signs). |

| | Re: Now what's everyone working on? Been working away on detail on a relief carving of a frigate under sail plowing into a wave. It's coming.
Still working on a model of H.M.S. Shannon and preparing the drawings for a half model of the Saint John, N.B. built ship, the Marco Polo.

| | | Re: Now what's everyone working on? Bob, have you even done a viking ship? I've been thinking about trying one, but can't decide whether to attempt to build it or carve it. I'm really wanting to do the maiden head, I guess that's why I've been thinking about doing the complete ship.
Any suggestions on a site to learn a little about ship modeling? |
