Default Not ur average carving show Pics from France

This is a link to Youtube pics from a carving show in France. There are some great carvings in this. Some one on the forum put a link on here about Opinel knives. Well I was looking at the other vids by the same person and this is one of them. The others vids are good to look at too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMgVgtAMbKk

Absolutely marvelous!

I was impressed by the number & quality of RELIEF CARVINGS. Well executed and excellent paint/finish. Relief is probably the most under utilized wood carving form in the U.S.

I'm glad you all liked!
The quality of the relief carvings is what impressed me the most also.

Thank you for the YouTube link. It is indeed interesting to see the types of carvings that dominate this show: reliefs in found wood - scenes of bygone days. Perhaps these were the works that appealed to the person with the camera, but I believe it represents the scope of the show. (What! No caricatures?)
