Just wanted to let every one know that the Northern Colorado Wood Carvers 19th Annusl Show/Sale and Competition is :
Saturday November 19, 2011 11:00am to 5:00pm
Sunday November 20, 2011 10:00am to 4:00pm
At the Larimer County Fairgrounds Thomas M. McKee Building Exhibition Hall A Admission is free!!

Also will have a silent auction with lots of great stuff donated by many vendors. Garage sale items and Vendors. Plus a whittling contest on Sunday.

uvawyo that is great, looking forward to seeing you. The weather forecast so far looks pretty good.

I hope the weather stays good. Last year going home we ran into pea soup fog from just north of Wellington to Cheyenne -visibility two car lengths, then rain and ice then snow and ice for the next 100 miles. It was my first carving show and I sure did enjoy it.

Herb it sounds like you had quite a trip home last year!! Just looked at the Nat. Wx. Svc. and it looks good for both Saturday and Sunday in Loveland. And Sunday in Glendo looking good too so hope everything is good in between!!
Looks like we have about the same distance to travel -I live east of Sterling so about 140 miles to the show.
I will be looking for you Sunday --Have a safe drive!
I better get busy --have garage sale stuff to find and tools to locate and if I am Lucky I will even find some of it..

We took a contingent of 3 guys down to the show and had a great time bought carvings wood and a couple of knives for the wife, met a lot of great folks, even tho it is a 330 mile round trip I joined the northern Colorado wood carvers
You folks put on a great show we all really enjoyed it my only suggestion is have a little food available we'd have stayed bit longer had we been able to have a sandwich there
The whittling contest was super!!

Thanks Herb, glad you liked the show. We will have to look into the food idea. Don't know if there are rules about that because of the concessions on the property.
I am told this was the 19th year... hope the 20th is even better!
