Default Nora Hall European wood carver~ videos

Hi! Just wondered if anyone here has heard of Nora Hall. She's a master Europen wood carver. Great lessons on relief carving! Ebay has videos 1-8 plus a cast of a lion and one shell. Each video is normaly 22.95 but the bidding started at only 20.00 for EVERYTHING! The auction ends tomorrow and the bid has only reached 35.00!!! Someone is going to get a great deal especially because everyone will be to busy with Easter to bid. Check it out!

Dee, I see that you joined us yesterday. We have a very friendly, helpful, and diverse group of members on this board. We enjoy receiving newcomers and try to assist them in becoming a part of this on-line community. Welcome to the WCI board.

We get a lot of messages and, I believe, all of us check each thread pretty carefully. There are a couple of areas where we monitors may be a bit overly cautious (advertisements, porn, etc.); but, it seems to work for this group. I have exercised my judgement to delete two of your messages which were duplicated in two other categories.

Your message was not strictly advertisement and I am sure that it was intended with the interests of the group (woodcarving) and posted as your first message due to the time limitation imposed by e bay. I hope you will continue with our group and post a message as a new member and give the group a chance to welcome you to the board.

I got a lot more out of the videos than the class I took with her a few years ago. I have some of her videos and they are pretty good. As far as her class lets just say Im glad I have her videos!

Oh really?! That is suprising! You would think in person would be better but actually I guess video would be better because you get the best view plus, you can rewind anytime you want, to see the part you need help with over and over again. =)

The videos aren't as old and grumpy and don't belittle and hollar at the students as much. 3 people dropped out of the class I did stay till the end of the class and is the class I was looking forward to the most and probably got the least out of. Good ole Gal but really should stick to the videos!

LOL! Your kidding! She really yelled at her students? How did she belittle them? That's awful! She shouldn't be giving classes with an attitude like that! I would have asked for my money back!
