Default NEWC Spirit of Wood Annual Show and Competition

I attended the New England Woodcarver's annual show and competition. They had a category for Intarsia so I entered My stuff (first photo). The groups were subdivided into beginners, intermediate and experts. I want my Intarsia to be judged in the open category so I entered the expert category.

Unfortunately I could only enter one category so since I entered my Intarsia in the expert I had to enter my Michaelangelo (second photo) also as an expert even though I am a beginner.

There were hundreds of beautiful works in every category. Birds were the most popular with almost 50% of the entries being birds and ducks.

Ribbons: Blue 1st place, Red 2nd place, Yellow 3rd place Purple Honorable mention.

Thank you. The first photo is my Intarsia work- I am not a beginner in Intarsia. The second photo is my carving- I started carving in June of this year. The rest of the photos are not my work but that of other competitors. Just wanted to make sure that no all the photos are of my work (I wish).
