Default new thread on sharpening systems

OK how about a list of power sharpening systems that are available? It seems a lot of people here are interested...if you know of a system please post the web address...thanks!

I have the Tormek, works good for me. Would like to add, that I do woodworking in addition to carving, if I only carved I probably would have looked around longer. You should be able to sharpen a set of planer blades within .003, and thats great, but when I sharpen my palm tools, it's easier to just freehand, that being the case, the Burke system would work just as well. The Tormek works great on larger tools, but even with all of the jigs, I find it hard to hold small carving knives,palm tools, etc. I like my Tormek, but if you only carve, I'd do some comparison shopping. The Wood shows are going around the country now and I think Tormek will be at each one, take a knife in and ask their rep. to sharpen it.
