| | New pics of finished work Had to run out today to get pics of work I had done for a job to do in Georgia.Since I put them in the 'puter I thought I might as well post them.Bits of these are on my site,,and I've posted shots in the process,,but here is where they finally ended up and you can see them in their natural environment. An overall shot of the Sanctuary,,my columns in the back,,and a close up of the capitals I did...the Bishops chair overall ( Marble)11 ft tall and the carved crest I did that was inlaid..and the presiding chair and two smaller ones out of mahogany,,as well as 4 stools for the servers (off in the background) These are fairly straight forward,,fun turning the legs and then doing egg/dart to wrap around them and along the bottom of the seats. And the gold leaf panels on each side of the backs are not separate,,they were carved right into the columns that frame the back,as well as the small stylized crosses.Even the top leaf design is carved directly into that top panel.Hope you enjoy them.
