Default New Find Continued

Here's the piece of rhodendron that I found last week with the tumor growths on it. I am open to any ideas anybody has for this piece.

Keep it around it will haunt you untill you can see a face in it or a animal head.

treat it with insecide or you might have uninvited guests.

I was stationed in galena alaska few years back, nothing to do after work but get drunk or walk in the woods along the banks of the yukon river,
plenty of driftwood along the banks, i found a burrel as big as a beachball, took it to my room in the barraks, that night i awoke to a infestation of black ants.... i mean if there was one ant there was 100 thousand. it was still cold outside and i had transported the nest to my room... took a week to kill them all

Is it long enough to be used for a cane?

the knob end is so perfect you could really almost just clean it and finish it for one ,
Nice find.

I'm with Ash on this one.....sometimes God hands ya piece that just doesn't need your help in carving. Cleaned up and finished, it would be great, just as it is, providing it's long enough.

And if it is not long enough - maybe it could be spliced to something to make it longer - looks like it will be beautiful!
