Default New Color Scheme......

Right? LOL...I just want to be sure that you all see the same changes I do in the color scheme and that it's not just the voices in my head :-)

No Teri, It isn't voices in your head. Well maybe, But you are not alone hearing them voices. HMMMMMM aliens, that's it ALIENs have taken us over!!!!!!
Maybe it is that bat my little bride carries around when I am home. I know I see stars often!!! :

The voices tell me it is white letters on black background. They telling you the same????

Best to you Teri and keep up the great carvings. AHhh, to paint like you do!!!! For sure.

Trying to read white copy on a black background it bad for your eyes. It causes eye strain and affects the color of everything you look at for the next 15 to 30 minutes.

This info comes from doing print ads for ten years so its not just some guy griping for the fun of it.

I have to agree with jack about it being bad for your eyes. I too have worked as a computers for a long time. 20 years consulting. If your eyes start to get out of focus try closing them for a few seconds. If it doesn't work get away from the computer for an hour or two. Otherwise you with get fatigued and headaches will surely follow. :'(

Love this site and all the people here! You are all so wise and helpful!

I have to agree with Brad and Jack, As a computer specialist, It not only tires the eyes and strans them, it also causes headachs and shoulder fatigue.

I am greatly appreciateive for the hard work the Administrator(s) have done to get us back the board.Thank you so much. Can you work at changing the background and lettering to a more pleasing color.

Thanks again for your prompt response to the Hacking.

Yup, okay...so I'm not crazy (well, maybe, but not about this). I agree that white type on a dark background is difficult to read, but I'm just glad to have the board back, whatever color it is :-)

While the colors are are a nice change, it sure uses up a lot of printer ink if you want to run off an article.
However, I agree with everyone that it's great to have the forum back. Hats off to admin!

Welllll - Not having 'normal' color perception I kind of like it, I can read all off it without adjusting my monitor are guessing (except for the white on grey which I can read, but not without a lot of effort). There are boards that are impossible, like the ones with yellow on a white background or pastel greens on white. As for the main text, think I would side with the rest of you and opt for black on white. But, somebody put an awful lot of work into recovering this thing so I'm HAPPY!!!!
