| | new carvings Here are some of my Christmas ornaments. The tree is the back side of the Santa above it. Hull Patterns on the Santa and little gnome, but I changed the Santa on this one.
The half egg Santa is one I cut in half and started working on to see if I could and I did.
The other Santa peeking was from the latest WCI book.

| | Re: new carvings Thanks all for the kind words. The gentlemen's first name escapes me but the Santa/Tree was one of his patterns with the tree added by me. The little Gnome was his also and I have added pointed ears but not on that one. The peeking santa was from the last WCI and I have added eyes which,,, well auh, I will go back to that one. Seems the little bride , the Kidsl and the GrandKs. like them so I have made them all sets for the Christmas tree and I have several more to make for the out-laws. Anyway, they are funn little ornaments to carve. The Santa stuck in the Chimmny was one I seen on Chip Chats. I can say Chip Chats can't I? Didn't show the Snowman as I don't have one but it is another Hull Patern but again, Hull's was one sided and I put a frown on the other side showing maybe SUNShINE coming out.
I received a leather wheel strop and polish for Christmas and have started using it. Took a little getting use to but find that My tools are a lot sharper and It only takes a jiffy with each one.
Practicing on faces and even though I am not there yet as you can tell on my other picture I posted. Well, so much for keeping this short. Guess, I need to change my ID to "Bucketmouth" . ![004[1]1](http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/forum/images/smilies/004[1]1.gif) NEW YEAR!!! |

| | Re: new carvings Kenny,
Wonderful Christmas ornaments wow your tree must have a lot of character this year. You have given me a great idea for my tree next year. Before Dave says it no it isnt going to be a Douglas Fir and no I wont need a crane to put them on.
