| | New carving pictures posted Hello all!
I just posted some new carving pictures to the Carver's Gallery, Wood spirits that I have done in the last month or so. I am still working on my faces and not very happy with my noses. But I am progressing slowly. Take a look and critique them if you wish. Thanks in advance!

| | Re: New carving pictures posted Retry, Your spirits are great but I really like "Ol Mose" and "Blessing" the best. Beautiful work. Did you carve them on dry sycamore or wet? How did you keep it from cracking? Mike

You can't take credit for "blessing".That one is mine and it is done on cottonwood bark.

| | Re: New carving pictures posted Don by the lake, Wow, If I'm taking credit for it then I want it! Lol. Don't know what that statement was about but I can asure you that I do not take credit for any carvings that are not mine , never have and never will.
My carvings may not be of master carver status but I'm not ashamed to show "my own" carvings to anyone. Mike

| | Re: New carving pictures posted Don, No problem on my end. When I went to look at Retrys pictures and I must have confused one of yours with his and gave him credit for both of them.If you go look at your picture and the comments on it you will see where I gave the carving a high rateing and high praise. Nice work Don, Mike

| | Re: New carving pictures posted Great wood spirits, Retry. I like how they each have their own unique look to them. The only “problem” I saw was that the Greenman had hairy eyebrows rather than leafy ones, but I guess that isn't too important because he still looks great.
